Master Thesis: Solving Logistic Problem with Multi-Agent System (60 ECTS)

Aims:

By using state of the art emulation combined with modern Multi-Agent System technology, it is our goal to show that Multi-Agent Systems are useful for solving the complex and comprehensive logistic problems they are experiencing at the Odense Steel Shipyard group (OSS). We are designing a solution support tool for planning decision makers at the shipyard, and we have made several interviews at the shipyard in order to understand how comprehensive the logistic problem were. The idea is that we shall design a Multi-Agent System, that controls the coordination of internal transportations of ship block with kamag vehicles, which are specialized vehicle constructed to carry the heavy load of steel section that weigh up to 1000 ton.

We have designed the simulation model in Automod, and have designed the graphics with ACE.

AF27: Introduction to Robotics

The following video was made during a project in the course AF27. We were calculating the motion of a KUKA robot in order for its tool tip to reach a goal without any collision with obstacles.
